It is designed for everything from individual track control to stereo bus compression when used as a pair, and it opens up a wide range of shaping options by letting you choose which frequencies drive the compressor.
Its main strength is the sidechain filter section, with broad high-pass and low-pass ranges plus a Listen function that lets you monitor the sidechain signal itself.
