Most products sold through the Outside Store are software and are delivered electronically. Software licence codes are typically sent within moments of purchase. If you do not receive your code, please check your spam or junk folder and contact us if delivery has not reached your inbox. For hardware purchases, delivery timelines vary—our team will contact you directly with shipping and fulfillment details.

RETURNS

ALL SOFTWARE SALES ARE FINAL.

Software products are delivered electronically and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged once delivered.

Select hardware products may be eligible for return on a case-by-case basis. All hardware return requests must be approved in advance, and items must be unused and in original packaging. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If a hardware item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately upon receipt so we can assist.

EDUCATIONAL SALES - AVID

Educational pricing on AVID products is offered exclusively to qualified students, educators, and educational institutions, in accordance with AVID’s global education licensing requirements.

Eligibility

To qualify for educational pricing, customers must be able to provide valid proof of academic eligibility, which may include (but is not limited to):

A current student or faculty ID
A valid institutional email address (.edu or equivalent)
Proof of enrollment or employment at an accredited educational institution

Eligibility is verified by AVID, not the retailer. OMS Canada does not determine final qualification.

Verification Process

Educational licenses are subject to verification by AVID after purchase
If eligibility cannot be verified, AVID may require the license to be:

Converted to a full commercial license (price difference payable), or

Cancelled in accordance with AVID’s licensing terms

License Type & Usage

Educational licenses are functionally equivalent to commercial versions, but are restricted for educational use
Educational licenses may not be used for commercial, broadcast, or revenue-generating work unless permitted by AVID’s licensing terms

Software Delivery & Returns

All AVID software licenses are delivered electronically
ALL SOFTWARE SALES ARE FINAL
Once a license has been issued or activated, it cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged

Institutional & Bulk Purchases

Educational institutions interested in multi-seat licenses, lab installations, or volume purchases are encouraged to contact OMS Canada directly prior to purchase for guidance and quoting.

Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

Ensure eligibility before purchasing an educational product
Comply with AVID’s End User License Agreement (EULA)

OMS Canada cannot override AVID’s licensing decisions or eligibility outcomes.
